Holiday Tips – Enjoy a safe holiday time with your pet and keep these tips in mind:
Holiday foods we enjoy cooking and eating can be a problem for your pet. Keep these items on your table and out of the dog bowl: Fatty, rich foods and gravies, alcohol, chocolate, coffee/tea, uncooked meats or fish, grapes, raisins and macadamia nuts.
Poisonous Plants – Holly (leaves and berries), mistletoe, hibiscus and poinsettias
Festive decorations and wrappings can be dangerous to your pet. Watch that your furry friend does not get a hold of ribbons, yarn, and string. Adhesives, glues and potpourri/candles are a no-no!
And we cannot forget the Christmas tree…the main attraction for your pet! The needles and tinsel and ornaments are just too irresistible for your pet at times. Make sure all fallen needles are cleaned up and all tree decorations are high enough up the tree so no four legged critters can get a hold of them.
Mark These Dates In Your Calendar – Please mark your calendars with these special dates:
Thursday, January 11, 2018 – dog daycare services available – no boarding
Friday, January 12 to Monday, January 15 – closed to the public (re-open for regular hours on Tues. Jan. 16)
